Privacy & Data Flow

• • Notes, audio, images, library books, and settings live in SQLite on your device.
• • Speech transcription runs on-device unless you configure otherwise.
• • No SILO Notes account is required for core features.
• • No analytics SDKs or background telemetry in the app.
• • Backups are `.silo` zip archives you create and store where you choose.

These are initiated by you in Settings — never silent background sync:

• • Hosted AI / BYOK — only note text you explicitly send for a template run.
• • TTS server URL — audio generation hits your LAN or self-hosted endpoint.
• • Voice Cloner — sample audio goes to the TTS server you configured.

The marketing site is a static export on Cloudflare Pages. It does not load Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, or similar trackers.

• • If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and signup timestamp in our private Supabase database.
• • We use that list only to contact you about the beta — not sold or shared.
• • Duplicate signups are ignored silently.
• • Theme preference is saved in your browser's localStorage only.

Email [email protected] to request removal from the waitlist. App data is already yours on-device — delete the app or clear storage anytime.
